Full Moon
The September full moon is exact on Saturday, 26 September 2026 at 16:50 UTC, with the Moon in Aries and 100% of the disc lit.
A full moon in Aries brings a decision you have been circling to a head, usually one where you were waiting for permission that is not coming. It stands opposite a Libra Sun, so the pull is between what you want and what keeps the peace. The fortnight after is a poor time to negotiate and a good one to act on what you had already decided.

Dates are Universal Time (UT). A station close to midnight can fall on the previous day in the Americas and on the next day in Europe.
Saturday 26 September 2026, at 16:50 UTC. That is the instant the Moon stands opposite the Sun: 100% of the disc is lit and the Moon is in Aries. The instant is the same everywhere — only the clock reading differs.
Aries, because at the moment of a full moon the Moon sits opposite the Sun and takes the facing sign. It advances by roughly one sign a month, so no two consecutive full moons repeat it.
16:50 UTC is Universal Time. Take five hours off for New York, add one or two for Madrid, add ten or eleven for Sydney. When the instant falls near midnight your local date lands a day either side of 26 September 2026.
26 October 2026, in Taurus. Two full moons are 29 or 30 days apart, so the next one normally falls in the following calendar month; the table above lists every full moon of 2026.
Finish rather than begin: settle the debt, return what you borrowed, send the thing sitting in drafts. The disc reads full to the eye for about a day either side of 16:50 UTC on 26 September 2026, and practice allows that whole window. Starting things belongs to the new moon a fortnight later.
