Your Big Three to the degree, and what each of them says about you.
All ten planets with sign, degree and house. Retrograde planets are marked.
Conjunctions, sextiles, squares, trines and oppositions between your planets, the strongest first.
Which element and modality lead your chart, the planet that rules it and the planets on its angles.
The North and South Node by sign and house: where you are headed and what already comes easily.
Each planet is one part of you: the Sun your identity, the Moon your feelings, Mercury your mind, Venus how you love, Mars how you act.
The sign colours how that part of you works. Venus in Aries loves boldly and fast; Venus in Virgo shows love through care and attention.
The twelve houses are areas of life, from self and money to partners and career. A planet shows up most in the house it stands in.
Aspects are angles between planets. Trines and sextiles let two parts of you work together; squares and oppositions create tension that pushes you to grow.
Positions use the tropical zodiac and houses the Placidus system, the most common in Western astrology. Above the polar circles, where Placidus cannot be calculated, the chart switches to Porphyry houses and says so.
A birth chart, also called a natal chart, is a map of the sky at the moment and place you were born: where the Sun, Moon and planets stood in the zodiac, which sign was rising on the eastern horizon and how the twelve houses fell. Astrologers read it as a portrait of your character and the main themes of your life.
Yes. Tick “I don’t know my birth time” and the chart is cast for noon at your birth place. Planets rarely change sign within a day, but the Moon moves about 13° a day: if the Moon or a planet changed sign that day, you will see both possible signs. The Rising sign and houses need the exact time, so they are left out.
Your result lists every planet with its sign, degree and house. Houses need the exact time and place: they turn with the Earth, so every two hours or so of birth time moves a planet into another house. Below the calculator, every planet in every house has a page of its own.
The tropical zodiac and Placidus houses, the most common choice in Western astrology. Placidus cannot be calculated above the polar circles, so for births there the chart uses Porphyry houses and says so. Positions are geocentric, and the lunar nodes are true nodes.

Most often because of the birth time: an hour entered in the wrong time zone, or without that year’s daylight saving time, moves the Rising sign and the houses. We take the historical time zone of the city you pick. The rest are choices of method, such as Whole Sign instead of Placidus houses or the mean instead of the true node.
