February 2028 new moon: Friday 25 February in Pisces
The February new moon is exact on Friday, 25 February 2028 at 10:40 UTC, with the Moon and the Sun together in Pisces.
Meaning
A new moon in Pisces starts what cannot be justified yet: the practice, the art, the rest you have been treating as a reward. Set the intention loosely and keep the first commitment tiny — Pisces cycles are ruined by a schedule and helped by a habit.
Rituals
- Set 1–3 intentions you can act on within 48 hours
- Clear digital or physical clutter in one small area
- Light a candle and name what you are calling in
Journal prompts
- What do I want to begin without needing instant proof?
- Which habit would change everything if I stayed consistent?
- What would feel like self-respect this week?

Pisces, the sign the Sun is passing through. A new moon is a conjunction, so the two bodies always share it, and it moves on by one sign each month.
What time is the February new moon where I am?
10:40 UTC in Universal Time, which is one instant everywhere. New York runs five hours behind it, Madrid one or two ahead, Buenos Aires three; if it falls close to midnight your local date sits a day either side of 25 February 2028.
When is the next new moon after this one?
26 March 2028, in Aries. New moons repeat every 29 or 30 days, and the table above lists all of them for 2028.
What should I do on the February 2028 new moon?
Start one thing and keep it small enough to survive the week. The usual practice is to write one to three intentions within a day of 10:40 UTC and take a first step inside forty-eight hours, with Pisces setting the tone. Endings belong to the full moon a fortnight later.
