Karmic debt: questions
What is a karmic debt number?
In numerology, 13, 14, 16 and 19 are karmic debt numbers. When one of them turns up on the way to a core number, it is read as a lesson carried over: 13 about work, 14 about moderation, 16 about humility and 19 about independence. The core number still counts: a 14 becomes a 5.
How do I know if I have karmic debt?
Look at your day of birth and at the sums behind your core numbers. If you were born on the 13th, 14th, 16th or 19th, or your life path, expression, soul urge or personality sum passes through one of those numbers before it reduces, you carry that debt. The calculator checks all five places and shows the step where the debt appears.
Is being born on the 13th, 14th, 16th or 19th karmic debt?
Yes. The day of birth is the most common place to find it: 4 of the 31 days carry a debt. The birthday number still reduces, so the 16th is a 7, with the debt noted beside it.
Why do karmic debt calculators give different results?
They look in different places. Some check only the birthday, some add every digit of the date at once, and some count the year's own digit sum (1990 adds up to 19), which this calculator does not. Here the month, day and year are reduced separately, as for the life path, and the debt is looked for in the sums that follow.
What are karmic lessons?
Karmic lessons come from your name, not your date. Each digit from 1 to 9 that none of the letters of your full birth name carries marks a quality to develop. Enter your name to see yours.
Can karmic debt be cleared?
Numerology reads it as a pattern you work on over time. The advice for each number describes what helps: steady effort for 13, moderation for 14, humility for 16 and accepting help for 19.
