The reading
What 2027 holds
Your Aries horoscope for 2027 begins with a delay. Mars, your ruling planet, is retrograde from 10 January to 1 April, and plans started in those weeks come back for a second draft. With Saturn in Aries for the whole year, you will need habits you can hold at a steady pace. After April the pace rises, and the total solar eclipse in Leo on 2 August marks the busiest stretch.
How it may feel
January to March can feel like waiting at a door that has not opened yet. Mars moves backwards through Virgo, your sixth house, and from 21 February through Leo, your fifth, so energy goes into repair work: daily routines and health first, then the things you make for pleasure. With Saturn in your first house you may measure yourself against a stricter standard than usual. From May you have more momentum than in the past two years, and the second half of 2027 feels crowded.
Where to put your attention
Put your attention on your fifth house, the part of the chart that rules creative work and romance. Jupiter stays in Leo until 25 July, and the total solar eclipse of 2 August falls there too, at 9 degrees Leo. Anything you show or publish between April and August has the best chance of reaching people. On 26 July Jupiter moves into Virgo, your sixth house, and the last five months reward the structure of your working day: the schedule and the tools you use every day.
What could trip you up
Two things can cost you this year. The first is starting something large between 10 January and 1 April: a version begun while Mars is retrograde will need a second draft. The second is Saturn in your own sign. It turns retrograde on 9 August at 27 degrees Aries and returns to 21 degrees by 24 December, so promises made in spring come back for review in autumn. Mercury is retrograde three times, from 9 February to 3 March, 10 June to 4 July and 7 to 28 October.
