What 2027 holds
Three of the five eclipses of 2027 fall on the line between your fourth house, the part of the chart for home, and your tenth, the part for career. That axis runs through the Scorpio horoscope for 2027. Mars, your traditional ruler, is retrograde from 10 January to 1 April, and the first quarter moves at half speed. Mars is in your own sign from 2 September to 15 October, and in those weeks the pace is yours to set.
How it may feel
Until April, the year can feel like an engine running with the brake on. By late February both Mars and Jupiter are retrograde in Leo, your tenth house: Mars until 1 April, Jupiter until 13 April. Ambition has nowhere to go in those weeks, and pushing only wears you out. Pluto, your modern ruler, stays in Aquarius, your fourth house, all year, and you may feel the ground under your private life shifting by degrees. From mid-April the outer world moves fast, and your calendar fills with other people's deadlines.
Where to put your attention
Your tenth house carries the year from April to July. Mars turns direct there on 1 April at 20 degrees Leo, and Jupiter on 13 April at 17 degrees. The work you put in front of others in those months has its best chance of lasting. The total solar eclipse of 2 August at 9 degrees Leo falls in this house too, and your public role may change around that date. Jupiter changes sign on 26 July, moving into Virgo, your eleventh house of networks and friendships, and the allies you gather count for more through the rest of 2027.
What could trip you up
The year's risk sits in your sixth house, the part of the chart that covers daily duties and health, where Saturn and Neptune spend all of 2027 in Aries. You may take on more than one person can hold, and with Neptune there, the limits of a task can stay unclear. Saturn is retrograde from 9 August to 24 December, and in autumn you will revisit the duties you accepted in spring. The three Mercury retrogrades run from 9 February to 3 March, 10 June to 4 July and 7 to 28 October, the last beginning in your sign.
