The reading
What 2027 holds
Home comes first in the Capricorn horoscope for 2027. All year your ruler, Saturn, is in Aries, your fourth house, the house of roots and family. Three of the five eclipses fall in your second and eighth houses, the houses of your own money and of money you share, and the penumbral lunar eclipse of 18 July falls in Capricorn. January to March move at a crawl; from April you will need speed.
How it may feel
At the new moon in Capricorn on 7 January you may want to begin everything at once. On 10 January Mars turns retrograde in Virgo, your ninth house of journeys and learning, and it is direct again in Leo, your eighth house, from 1 April. The first quarter may feel like doing the same work twice. The tempo climbs after April, and the eclipse of 18 July, at 25 degrees Capricorn, may feel like a personal deadline. From 26 November Mars is in your sign, and you end 2027 with more drive than you had in January.
Where to put your attention
The ground under your feet deserves your attention first. With Saturn in your fourth house all year, a move or a repair may need your patience and your signature, and what you settle there between April and July can hold for years. Saturn is retrograde from 9 August to 24 December, slipping from 27 back to 21 degrees Aries, and one decision about home may return for a second look. Jupiter is in Leo, your eighth house, until 25 July and enters Virgo, your ninth, on 26 July; from then you can turn the same discipline toward study or travel.
What could trip you up
Money is where the year can surprise you. The annular solar eclipse of 6 February, at 17 degrees Aquarius, and the penumbral lunar eclipse of 17 August, at 24 degrees Aquarius, both fall in your second house; the solar eclipse of 2 August, total and at 9 degrees Leo, falls in your eighth. Keep a margin in your accounts through August. Mercury is retrograde from 9 February to 3 March, from 10 June to 4 July and from 7 to 28 October, and those are poor weeks to sign in haste.
