The reading
What 2027 holds
You begin 2027 with Mars in your sign, and on 10 January it turns retrograde at 10 degrees Virgo. In your Virgo horoscope for 2027, preparation comes first: until 25 July Jupiter is in Leo, your twelfth house, the part of the chart for rest and hidden matters. Jupiter reaches Virgo on 26 July and stays for the rest of the year. Mercury, your ruling planet, is retrograde three times.
How it may feel
January to March may feel like correcting a page you thought complete. From 10 January Mars moves backwards through Virgo, your first house, the part of the chart for the body and the way you appear, and from 21 February through Leo, your twelfth, until it turns direct on 1 April. Around the penumbral lunar eclipse of 20 February, at about 2 degrees Virgo, you may be stricter with yourself than the facts deserve. By late August Jupiter and the Sun are both in Virgo, and you may feel at ease in your own skin.
Where to put your attention
Put your attention on your sixth house, the part of the chart for daily work and routines. Two eclipses fall there, the annular solar eclipse of 6 February at 17 degrees Aquarius and the penumbral lunar eclipse of 17 August at 24 degrees. Pluto and the North Node stay in Aquarius all year, so your working day is open to change. Until 25 July, with Jupiter in your twelfth house, the work you do out of sight counts most. From 26 July Jupiter is in your first house, and you can show that work under your own name.
What could trip you up
Mercury, your ruler, is retrograde three times: 9 February to 3 March, from your seventh house of partnership into your sixth; 10 June to 4 July, from your eleventh house of friends into your tenth of career; 7 to 28 October, from your third house of messages into your second of income. Contracts you sign in those weeks may need revision. With Saturn in Aries, your eighth house of shared money and debts, retrograde from 9 August to 24 December, terms you agree before August may reopen.
