What 2027 holds
The Sagittarius horoscope for 2027 follows Jupiter, the planet that rules your sign. Jupiter is retrograde in Leo until 13 April, and until then you may reread plans you had thought complete. On 26 July it moves into Virgo, your tenth house, the part of the chart for career and reputation. From April the year moves faster than its opening suggests, and from late July your work takes the centre.
How it may feel
January to March may feel like a journey you have paid for and cannot yet begin. Mars is retrograde from 10 January to 1 April, first in Virgo, your tenth house, then from 21 February in Leo, your ninth house of travel and study. Patience is not the easiest virtue for your sign, and these weeks will test it. From 16 October to 25 November, while Mars crosses Sagittarius, you have more drive than at any other point of 2027.
Where to put your attention
Put your attention on 26 July, the day Jupiter changes house. Until then Jupiter is in Leo, your ninth house, and the months from April to July suit long journeys and serious study. You may close a chapter in that house around 2 August, the date of the total solar eclipse at 9 degrees Leo: a course, or a plan to live abroad. Once Jupiter is in your tenth house, you can ask for a more visible role, and the new moon in Virgo on 31 August suits a project with your name on it.
What could trip you up
Saturn spends all of 2027 in Aries, your fifth house of romance and creative work, and pleasure may come with duties attached. From 9 August to 24 December Saturn is retrograde, and promises you make there before August may return for review. The eclipses of 6 February and 17 August fall in Aquarius, your third house of messages and short trips, and a hasty word then travels far. Reread anything you sign during the three Mercury retrogrades: 9 February to 3 March, 10 June to 4 July, 7 to 28 October.
